Best Virtual Paralegal, LLC is looking to expand and grow its team with experienced, self-motivating paralegals who share in our enthusiasm for creating the BEST experience for our supervising attorney-clients.

Ideal Candidates

The ideal candidates for our paralegal positions require 5 or more years of experience working in-house paralegal coupled with 2 or more years of experience as an independent contractor.   Must be available during regular business hours for client contact. All Applicants must be self-starters driven by integrity, fast-paced environments, highly organized, dependable and possess strong people and paralegal skills.  All candidates must demonstrate the highest and strictest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS

  • A clean background check is required.
  • Adaptable, Assertive, and Efficient
  • Five years or more of paralegal experience
  • A fully operational office with Microsoft Office
  • Skype (Skype for business is preferred)
  • Microsoft 365, G-Suite, and Dropbox for business with BA agreement
  • A paid email account with encryption capability
  • Three references from attorneys or law firms (non-attorney references are not accepted)
  • Enthusiastic, upbeat, and pleasant personality with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A powerful sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Paralegals working in traditional day jobs must provide a waiver or letter of approval from his or her employer

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE

CONTRACT 1099 POSITIONS****

 

  • Responding to emails, phone calls, and mail
  • Gathering documents from Attorney-Clients’ Clientele is required
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents for Attorney-clients
  • Assembling and sending facsimile transmittals
  • Proofreading and editing
  • Docket control and
  • Assisting Best Virtual Paralegal with the promoting its paralegal services in Applicant’s area of expertise
