Pricing Confidentiality. Services, fees, rates, quotes, and pricing terms are negotiated between Clients, Site Users, Potential Clients, and Best Virtual Paralegal LLC. Services, fees, rates, quotes, and pricing terms Best Virtual Paralegal LLC negotiates with its Clients, Site Users, and Potential Clients may be unique to the Clients, Site Users, and Potential Clients.

Therefore, and except as otherwise provided by law, Clients, Site Users, and Potential Clients hereby agree to keep the prices confidential for a period of no less than three (3) years from the date of the initial visit. Clients, Site Users, Potential Clients agree by using and exchanging information with Best Virtual Paralegal LLC through this document, its site, article, or resource that the information exchanged pertaining to services, fees, rates, quotes, and pricing terms is confidential and private. Clients, Site Users, Potential Clients will not use this Confidential Information in furtherance of its business, or the business of anyone else, whether or not in competition with Best Virtual Paralegal LLC.

As a small business BVP strives to provide a low-cost affordable service to all our clients. With the ongoing price increases affecting everyone, BVP wants to provide a better understanding of its rates, clerical fees, and any other fees we may charge covers. Being a Bonded, Insured and Educated Paralegal Firm or Company we must adhere to state, federal, and local laws, and professional standards to ensure staff, and representatives of BVP are:

•          Collect and pay any bonds and licenses requirements by our local government.

•          Knowledgeable on Federal and State laws and professional standards;

•          That all members of BVP are current on CLEs (continuing legal education) and other training

•          That all members of BVP are up to date on current technology to process your legal matters as efficiently as possible;

These efforts require significant time and financial commitments from all BVP agents, resulting in direct recurring costs relating to:

•          Professional Bonds

•          Business Licenses & Certifications

•          Cyber Insurance

•          Financial Compliance

•          HIPAA Compliance

•          Paralegal Training and ongoing CLEs

•          Professional Liability Insurance

•          Cloud Storage & Software

•          Research Software & Library Costs

WE STILL CANNOT GUARANTEE LEGAL OR PARALEGAL RESULTS. Please note that Flat Fee Rates are not guarantee of legal results or a paralegal result and are merely prices associated with certain services. Our paralegals are experienced and trained but we are also realistic, and we know we can’t make everyone happy, and we are also no matter how many years of experience we have we can’t know all the answers. Therefore, we can’t guarantee you will not have to supervise and discuss legal processes, case law and action steps with us. We are not attorneys and can’t make decision as to when to object to a discovery request or what type of document needs to be drafted to help a client obtain the relief sought.

Some guidance and attorney supervision will be required.  We do not guarantee results of any document or service. Also, formatting and the style of documents including font, spacing, style of slipcovers, exhibits, and including letterhead are all subjective and personal preferences and edits based on subjective or law firm preferences or other personal elements do not represent training or equate to training, or constitutes grounds for nonpayment or a discount in a fee or price.

Flat Fee or Flat Rate Matters.

An Estimated Flat Fee or Flat Fee matter, Fixed Price shall be defined as a fixed price, a set charge contingent the scope of the project or request. are subject these following terms and conditions:

• The phrases: fixed rates, estimated flat rate, flat fee rates, and flat fee matter(s) are used as synonyms and are used interchangeable in this policy and for convenience will be referred to as flat fee matter(s) in hereinafter.
• Estimated flat fees and Estimated Turnaround Time are not guaranteed. They are an approximate or educated guess and calculation of the time it will take for the service to be completed based on all related factors and conditions at the time of acceptance and is subject to change based on the actual the actual time, resources, and labor the services take to complete. Any change or modification to the initial request including the number of documents reviewed will change the estimated fee and the estimated turnaround time.
• This policy is BVP’s official policy pertaining to flat fee matter(s).
• Whenever possible BVP will give the Client an estimated flat fee and estimated turnaround time for routine matters such as document preparation services or consulting services that typically take the same amount of time each time the services are rendered;
• Flat fee matter(s) are not guaranteed;
• BVP are set based on the number of billable hours that a routine matter would expend;
• If the matter’s complexity evolved or a client or a client’s clientele requires extra time and attention, then the matter would no longer fit into the mold of a “routine” matter. BVP will let the Client know if the matter’s fees may go beyond the Flat Fee Rate or Flat Fee Matter as soon as possible;
• The estimated number of billable hours will be provided to Client either in an Exhibit A, B, C, or D attached to the Executed Service Agreement or in an email confirmation sent to Client by a member of BVP memorializing the scope of the project including an estimated turnaround time of completion (ETA) and the estimated flat fee;
• The descriptive headings & subheadings are inserted for convenience only and shall not control or affect the meaning or construction of the provisions of the exhibits of each Service Agreement. The lettering of each exhibit attached to a client’s service agreement will vary based on the services selected by client.
• Client will receive a Flat Fee (estimate) & ETA (estimated arrival time) within 24 to 72 business hours of making the request whenever it is possible to offer a service on a flat rate basis.
• WE CANNOT ALWAYS PREDICT THE FUTURE SO RATES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Please note that any and all flat rates are subject to change with reasonable notice provided to the client; hourly rates are similarly subject to change with or without notice. Our website is updated frequently to reflect any and all changes, so we recommend you check out the website prior to assuming the Flat Fee Rates associated with certain services unless an excuted service agreement states otherwise.
• Flat Fees may be charge on a cash on delivery basis.

FLAT RATE MATTERS ARE ASSIGNED AN ESTIMATED NUMBER OF BILLABLE HOURS BASED ON THE SCOPE OF THE SERVICE AT THE TIME OF ACCEPTANCE. THE MATTER WILL CONVERT TO HOURLY BILLABLE MATTERS ONCE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF BILLABLE HOURS DESCRIBED IN THE BILLING DESCRIPTION, SCHEDULE FROM THE CLIENT AGREEMENT OR THE EMAIL AGREEMENT IS EXCEEDED.

Billable Actions & Coupons. 

Unless otherwise noted on Client’s invoice, all actions BVP accepts on behalf of Client are billable actions. BVP charges clients for all revisions, intra-office conferences, thinking about a client’s matter (say, the time BVP paralegals spend talking about cases with each other, the client, clientele, other authorized people and receiving instructions from the Client about an assignment), setting up workflows, making and receiving phone calls and emails, plus any travel time, time spent waiting in line at the courthouse, office supply store, or post office, and any other time which may be prohibited from a lawyer’s time billing such as time spent doing administrative tasks—things like making copies mailing documents or making notes to the file, updating the file and maintaining a tickler file.

However, BVP on its own discretion as a one-time courtesy may from time to time deduct billable time from an invoice by marking the actions nonbillable, applying a coupon code, or otherwise reducing the amount owned on the invoice. 

By reducing billable time on the invoice during a billing cycle, is in no way a guarantee or a waiver of future charges for the same action or service. It is a one-time courtesy discount or coupon given to Client by BVP. All discounts and coupons are subject to the rules of BVP’s coupon policy. BVP’s coupon policy can be view on BVP’s official website. The coupon policy can be updated at any time without notice to Client. It is Client’s responsibility to review this policy for any changes and revisions.

Where services are offered. 

Some of the services the firm has to offer may only be available to licensed practicing attorneys and law firms within the United States. The attorneys who use the services of Best Virtual Paralegal LLC are responsible to their clients for the work performed by Best Virtual Paralegal under their direct supervision pertaining to the legal issues involved in the matter. Best Virtual Paralegal LLC's paralegal services are exclusively available to licensed practicing attorneys in the United States who are in good standing with their respective Bar Associations.

Paralegal support services are only available to U.S. attorneys. Paralegal Support is available in Alabama, Arizona, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
